Red Bull Arena. Harrison, New Jersey.

In a high-energy match at Red Bull Arena, the Columbus Crew managed a dramatic 3-2 victory over the New York Red Bulls, with Malte Amundsen’s stunning stoppage-time strike sealing the win. This match had everything fans could ask for—goals, tactical battles, and an electrifying finish.
Columbus started strong, dominating possession and creating early chances. Midfielder Aziel Jackson broke the deadlock, pouncing on a defensive error to put the Crew ahead. Jackson’s relentless energy and creativity were instrumental as he later set up Yevhen Cheberko for Columbus's second goal with a pinpoint assist, doubling their lead in the first half.

The Red Bulls, however, refused to back down. Emil Forsberg, their talismanic midfielder, orchestrated a spirited comeback. Forsberg initiated an attack that led to their first goal and scored the equalizer himself with a sublime finish from just outside the box. Wiki Carmona was another standout for the Red Bulls, tirelessly working in the midfield and creating key opportunities that kept the team in contention.
The match seemed destined to end in a hard-fought draw until Amundsen delivered a moment of brilliance in the 97th minute. Finding space outside the penalty area, he unleashed a left-footed rocket that left Red Bulls goalkeeper Carlos Coronel with no chance. The late goal sent the traveling Columbus fans into raptures and stunned the Red Bull faithful.

Despite the loss, the Red Bulls showcased resilience and creativity, with Carmona’s efforts a testament to the team’s never-give-up attitude. Columbus, meanwhile, demonstrated why they remain one of the league’s top contenders, combining tactical discipline with individual flair.
